American Association of Blacks in Higher Education (AABHE) is a membership-based professional organization dedicated to supporting the academic and professional success of Black faculty, administrators, and students in higher education. It provides resources, networking opportunities, and advocacy for policies that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in academic institutions. The AABHE also works to advance leadership development and the recruitment and retention of Black professionals in higher education. Common job titles among members include University Professor, Academic Administrator, Dean, Provost, and Diversity Officer. Most members work in universities, colleges, research institutions, and academic associations.
