Building your new Resume requires effective information gathering and collaboration for an end-product that feels genuine and authentic. The client intake process helps to gather information on important variables like your desired job title and industry. The intake process consists of an introductory questionnaire and a telephone call.

After completion of the intake process, your first drafts are prepared and uploaded into the client portal within 5 business days. You may request 30 days of draft revisions to ensure full satisfaction. Final documents are prepared in both MS Word and PDF along with additional information and resources to make the most of your new Resume.

We pledge to deliver on the following timelines:

  • First drafts delivered in 5 business days (after completion of intake process)
  • All draft revisions delivered in 3 business days (per each round)

In general, the Resume Writing process typically lasts from 10 to 30 business days (start to finish). This timeline takes into consideration completion of the introductory questionnaire, telephone intake call, first draft development, draft revisions (up to 30 days), and preparation of final proofed copies.

This program offers a combination of emotional support, practical guidance, and a greater sense of accountability in making a successful transition. We do not use rigid road-maps, this is a 1-on-1 program designed to offer practical advice specifically for you.

Intake Process

The client intake process begins with an online introductory assessment to provide more information regarding your career transition. After that, a 20-min intake session is scheduled to connect with your Career Coach prior to beginning your program.

Assessments

Upon completion of the client intake process, you will be asked to complete both the DISCstyles™ Self Report and Keirsey™ Career Temperament Report.

Coaching Sessions

Making a Career Change includes three 50-min coaching sessions. This program is designed to help you understand your individual strengths, weaknesses, values, and motivations as it pertains to identifying rewarding and uplifting career paths. This program is also designed to set you on a path towards executing on making a successful change.

Logistics and Timing

This program is hosted within our dedicated client portal. Phone sessions are conducted on a recorded, confidential phone line. We also use Zoom video conferencing as needed. Generally recommended is a one-week interval between each session. This may go faster or slower, based on your needs and availability.

Professional (PRO)

Unlimited Revisions allow for edits, revisions, and questions for a period of 30-days after receiving your first drafts.

We do our very best to develop flawless documents on the first try. Your input is helpful in building documents that are properly aligned with your goals. Constructive feedback and helpful comments and questions are welcomed and encouraged.

The process for making revisions typically involves downloading the document in MS Word and using track changes / comments to make markups, then uploading your revised draft into the secure and confidential client portal. Although written revisions tend to be most productive, phone call requests are happily accommodated too.

Unlimited Revisions is for refining and fine tuning the master version of your Resume. If you have multiple targets, please consider adding 2nd Focus Resume to your order for the development of a secondary version.

We aim to provide timely and thorough responses. Please allow up to three business days turnaround time for each set of draft revisions.

We send your Resume and an accompanying Recruiter Letter to 500+ retained and contingency recruiters at major third-party search firms including Korn Ferry, Boyden, Heidrick & Struggles, Egon Zehnder, and Christian Timbers.

Savvy recruiters are always looking for high quality candidates to place. This service is incredibly convenient for getting your Resume into the email inbox of hundreds of Recruiters with numerous job openings to fill.

How it Works

After gathering information on your job title, industry, and seniority level we develop a Recruiter Letter that accompanies your Resume during send-off. Along with your Resume, this letter is emailed to 500 – 2,000 recruiters at staffing and search firms.

Recipients are chosen based on relevancy as it pertains to your desired industry, occupation, and geographic location. After sendoff, you receive an MS Excel spreadsheet with a list of all the recipients and their contact information.

Resume Distribution is a one-time sendoff. Sending your Resume and Recruiter Letter to 500+ nationwide recruiters is a fast, convenient, and pain-free way to jump-start your job search. Results vary from person to person depending on many factors.
