The Arc of the United States (The Arc) is a membership-based professional and advocacy organization dedicated to promoting and protecting the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It offers individual and organizational membership to professionals, advocates, families, and community organizations involved in disability services and support. Common member roles include disability advocates, service providers, educators, social workers, family members, policy professionals, and nonprofit leaders working to advance inclusion, self-determination, and access to community-based supports.
