This is our signature service for creating a secondary version of your Resume geared toward a specific job title or industry concentration. If you're targeting two divergent job titles, you may need two different versions of your Resume. We assess your objectives and build a hyper-targeted version to compliment your master version.

Imagine you have experience in Sales and Project Management. You are interested in applying to both types of roles and aren't willing to take either option off the table. In this case, you need two different versions of your Resume, one geared for each focus using appropriate keywords, language, and terminology.

How Does 2nd Focus Differ?
When building multiple targeted Resumes for different focuses, the main changes take place in the opening "career profile" section of the document. This is the area which communicates the high level context and focus. Whereas, the body of your Resume (individual job descriptions) may generally remain unchanged on each version. In certain cases, it also makes sense to alter the body to achieve optimum relevancy.
What is the Process and Timeline?
After completion of the intake process, your 2nd Focus Resume draft is uploaded for your review within 5 business days. You may request edits and revisions for up to 30 days to ensure your complete satisfaction (3 business days turnaround for revisions). Final documents are prepared in both MS Word and PDF. We pledge to deliver on the following timelines:

We revisit your Resume by adding your newest positions as well as tweaking the focus and updating the layout. The end result is an ATS-friendly and visually appealing document that accurately reflects your current value proposition as a job seeker. Is This Service Right For Me?

Yes, if you’ve previously worked with JobStars on the development of your Resume and you need help retooling it by adding recently held jobs and/or tweaking the focus.

What is the Process & Timeline?

Resume Rework begins with an online introductory questionnaire followed by an intake phone call to discuss things before first draft redevelopment.

After completion of the intake process, your reworked first drafts are uploaded into the customer portal within 5 business days. You may request 30 days of draft revisions to ensure your satisfaction. Final documents are delivered in MS Word and PDF.

How Do Unlimited Revisions Work?

Unlimited Revisions allow for edits, revisions, and questions for a period of 30-days after receiving your first drafts.

The process for making revisions typically involves downloading the document in MS Word and using track changes / comments to make markups, then uploading your revised draft into the secure and confidential customer portal. Although written revisions tend to be most productive, phone calls are happily accommodated.

We aim to provide timely and thorough responses. Please allow up to three business days turnaround time for each set of draft revisions.

What if I Have Multiple Targets?

When you have multiple job title targets, sometimes building one ‘master version’ is the optimal approach.

For instance, imagine you’re applying for Sales jobs as well as Business Development jobs. Since these titles share many similarities, it makes sense to create one ‘master version’ that works for both targets.

Now imagine you’re applying for Project Manager jobs as well as Sales jobs. Since these are not so similar, you’ll benefit from having two versions (one for each focus).

Our 2nd Focus Resume is a discounted service for building another version as needed.

What Else is Included?
