You're more confident because you've had a chance to practice your answers and overall delivery in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment.
This program is optimal for motivated individuals that are ready to get serious about practicing interviewing and don’t want to do it alone. Partnering with a Career Coach offers emotional support, simulated practice, and a greater sense of accountability to doing the work necessary to improve as an interviewer. Many Career Coaching programs cost thousands of dollars and take many months to complete. Our program is not that! This is intended to be a cost-effective program that gives you a jump start and confidence boost in achieving your goals.
Mock Interview Prep requires effective information gathering and collaboration to position you for success. The program begins with an online introductory questionnaire for you to complete. Upon completion, a 20-minute intake session is scheduled to connect with your Career Coach before full session #1.

    Career Coaching Sessions

This program includes five (5) 30-min coaching sessions with your Career Coach. Sessions are discreet and confidential, 1-on-1 conversations. Generally recommended is a one-week interval between each session. This may go faster or slower, based on your needs and availability.

    Homework

Between sessions you may be prompted to complete voluntary ‘homework’ such as worksheets, mental exercises, and online research to spur along your objectives.

    Post Program Correspondence

After your final session concludes is a 30-day window for post program correspondence with your Career Coach to send messages for additional support as needed.
Coaching sessions are conducted on a recorded, confidential phone line. You receive MP3 recordings of each coaching session allowing you to listen back and reflect on the conversation. This program also uses Zoom (optional) for practicing video interviews. You’re able to stay in touch with your Career Coach between sessions by writing messages in the client portal.
Full sessions are 30 minutes each. The initial intake session is 20 minutes.
Between sessions, you may be assigned voluntary “homework” which involves completing various DIY exercises and worksheets from our collection. By participating in this program you have full access to our entire library of exercises, guides, and worksheets which are available for download in the client portal. In the United States, a Resume and a CV are both used to apply for jobs, but they differ in their purpose, length, and content. A Resume is a concise, one- or two-page document that summarizes your relevant work experience, education, skills, and achievements. It's typically used in the private sector, where employers value skills and experience over academic credentials. Conversely, a Curriculum Vitae (CV) is a more comprehensive document that includes information on your education, research and teaching experience, publications, awards and honors, and other achievements. CVs are typically used in academic and research fields and can be several pages long.

Maybe! This service is perfect if you're clear about what you want and seek a confidential partner to do the legwork of finding and applying to jobs on your behalf. Without a clear strategy or the right resources, it's difficult to gain traction as a job seeker. Likewise, applying to jobs on the internet is time consuming and stressful. From C-Suite to entry, we help professionals of all experience levels, occupations, and industries. Simply tell us what you’re after and let us do the heavy lifting.
Job Concierge is a collaborative process where we apply to jobs on your behalf as well as send your Resume to recruiting firms and employers (companies). After placing your order, the process begins with an online introductory questionnaire followed by a telephone intake call to discuss your situation and job search goals. Next, we get to work on your recruiter agency submissions and talent network submissions. Then, it's off to the races searching and applying to jobs on your behalf. All job search activity is recorded on a shared spreadsheet including jobs we've applied to, recruiting firms and companies we've sent your Resume to, and accounts we've created on your behalf. Click the following link to learn more about the Job Concierge process.
The timeline for Job Concierge varies, and is typically a multi-week to multi-month engagement (depending on your level and urgency). Job seeking takes time and isn't best rushed. We recommend allowing a minimum of 1 month for the Job Concierge process to play out. In most cases, 3 to 6-months is the sweet spot to aim for in gaining traction as a job seeker. This may mean patiently waiting for only perfect jobs to apply to over a matter of months. Or, submitting multiple applications in a matter of weeks. Whatever your timeline is, let us know, and we'll try to accommodate it.
Job application submissions are the key unique selling point of this service. We selectively apply to individual job postings on your behalf. This involves finding great openings that align with your criteria, modifying your Resume and Cover Letter for each job, and navigating each company's unique application submission process. To improve your odds of success, we skip large job boards and only apply to jobs on first-party sources (individual company websites).
We identify and send your Resume directly to multiple recruiting firms. Sending your Resume to recruiting firms is a useful strategy for connecting you with agencies that may have placement opportunities aligned with your background.
We identify and send your Resume directly to multiple companies (company talent networks). Joining a company's talent network is useful for expressing your interest in becoming an employee of that company (without actually applying to a job).
Job Concierge involves modifying your Resume for multiple online job applications. Therefore, it works best with a professionally prepared Resume. If you believe your Resume is up to par, we're happy to use it. Otherwise, please consider signing up for our budget-friendly Resume Refresh (starting at $250) for a visual makeover or our Bronze Package (starting at $595) for an overhaul.
We revisit your Resume and Cover Letter for each job application to ensure your documents are on-message with the role being applied to. Modifications are useful for finetuning language and incorporating keywords that improve your performance with ATS as well as hiring managers. Likewise, modifications are great for contextual points, such as applying to jobs from out-of-state or attempting to make a career change.

We send your Resume and accompanying Recruiter Letter to 500 to 2,000+ recipients at staffing and search firms across the country. Sending your Resume to recruiters is a fast, convenient, and pain-free way to jump start your job search. For example, we'll send your Resume to recruiters at well-known national search firms like Korn Ferry, Heidrick & Struggles, and Christian & Timbers as well as smaller firms (based on your industry, occupation, and experience level). Making contacts in the recruiting world is extremely valuable for job seekers. Of course, doing that on your own can be time-consuming and difficult. This service puts you in touch with 500 to 2,000+ recruiters with one click of a button.
First, we develop a Recruiter Letter that accompanies your Resume during send-off. This letter is intended to communicate your qualifications, share the contex8t of your situation, and capture interest from recruiters. Next, your Resume and Recruiter Letter are emailed to approximately 500 to 2,000+ individual recipients at staffing and search firms across the country (or PE / VC firms) based on relevancy as it pertains to your industry, occupation, and experience level. Finally, after sendoff you receive an MS Excel spreadsheet with a list of all the recipients and their contact information. This allows you to conduct follow-up with recruiters to capture their attention and take an interest in your situation. After your documents are distributed, those parties interested in learning more about you will reach out directly. This outreach is usually a telephone call or email correspondence to make contact and setup time for discussion. Resume Distribution is a one-time sendoff. Results vary from person to person depending on many factors. Please see the FAQs on the Resume Distribution page for more information.
Job Concierge on its own is highly useful for applying to jobs on your behalf. However, it's important to acknowledge that a significant portion of job opportunities never make it to company websites and are instead part of the 'hidden market', requiring contact with actual recruiters and hiring managers. Adding Resume Distribution to your Job Concierge package provides the added benefit of sending your Resume to thousands of individual recruiters. By combining Job Concierge with Resume Distribution, you gain access to recruiters who have extensive connections with companies of all sizes and industries. This broadens your reach and helps you explore avenues beyond traditional job postings.
Yes. This package makes a great gift for loved ones and friends. Simply place your order here on the website and include the name and email address of your gift recipient into the 'order notes' at checkout.
