    A La Carte Sessions for entry through executive level professionals. These sessions are nonthematic, flexible, and agile to any career-related issues you're facing. This includes making a career transition (laid off, fired, quit), preparing for an interview, dealing with a difficult boss, and more. Career Coaching is useful for tapping into a source of expert knowledge, emotional support, practical advice, and external accountability as you seek to overcome any career-related obstacle.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    A La Carte Sessions are open-ended. You and your supportive Career Coach discreetly work together in a one-on-one manner to address any career-related issues. Career Coaching is optimal for motivated individuals that are ready to get serious about the issues they're facing and don’t want to do it alone. A La Carte Sessions cater to your specific needs and do not involve rigid road-maps.
    Yes, this service is perfect for tapping into an external perspective for support and guidance with various career issues. You and your knowledgeable Career Coach will work together discreetly to address your unique situation and priorities.

    Intake Process

    The client intake process begins with an online introductory assessment to learn more about your needs and priorities. After that, a 10-min intake session is scheduled to connect with your Career Coach before your A La Carte Session(s).

    Career Coaching Sessions

    After completing the introductory assessment and intake phone call, you will participate in as many 50-minute sessions with your Career Coach as you sign up for. Generally recommended is a one or two-week interval between sessions. This may go faster or slower, based on your needs and availability.

    Homework

    Between sessions you may be prompted to complete voluntary ‘homework’ such as worksheets, mental exercises, and online research to spur along your objectives.

    Post Program Correspondence

    Post Program Correspondence enables you to message your Career Coach for additional support as needed for a 30-day period after your final session concludes.
    Coaching sessions are conducted on a recorded, confidential phone line. You receive MP3 recordings of each coaching session allowing you to listen back and reflect on your conversations. Zoom video conferencing is also available upon request. Between sessions you have direct contact with your Career Coach to send messages via written correspondence within the dedicated client portal.
    Full sessions are 50 minutes each. The initial intake session is 10 minutes.
    Between sessions, you may be assigned voluntary “homework” which involves completing various DIY exercises and worksheets from our collection.     Making a Career Change requires effective information gathering and collaboration to position you for success. The program begins with an online introductory questionnaire for you to complete. Upon completion, a 20-minute intake session is scheduled to connect with your Career Coach before full session #1.

    Keirsey Career Temperament

    After the questionnaire and intake phone call, it's time for you to complete the Keirsey™ Career Temperament. This popular online-based career assessment offers valuable personality-based insights when attempting to pick a new career path or industry. You will receive instructions for completing the Keirsey at that time.

    Career Coaching Sessions

    This program includes three (3) 50-min coaching sessions with your Career Coach. Sessions are discreet and confidential, 1-on-1 conversations. Generally recommended is a one-week interval between each session. This may go faster or slower, based on your needs and availability.

    The Keirsey™ Career Temperament is a popular career assessment tool which provides suggested career matches, based on research surveys conducted across a wide spectrum of industries. This report is well known for assisting career professionals, job seekers, and students in the career exploration process. The findings and takeaways are helpful for aligning your career choices with your innate strengths and preferences. Here is a sample completed Keirsey Career Temperament Report.
    Coaching sessions are conducted on a recorded, confidential phone line. You receive MP3 recordings of each coaching session allowing you to listen back to each session and reflect on your conversations. Zoom video conferencing is also available upon request.
